 Valori Steele is an musical and stage icon. The sexy bombshell singer, bassist and performer has been known to eletrify venues, audiences and clubs everywhere she performs. The funky soul, blues, hard rock and metal singer, who is influenced by the likes of Chaka Khan, Prince, Tina Turner, Living Colour and Bette Davis, has carved out a niche of her own. She has worked with the Metal/Punk band Kamakaze, a Rolling Stones Tribute Band, (www.stonesband.com) The Glimmer Twins, The Cobalt Blues Band, and was the lead singer and front lady for a critically acclaimed Philly Rock group Moses Magnum. She has graced the stage as front lady and solo vocalist with many East Coast rock bands and is a favorite as a replacement singer.

She plays the bass guitar, writes songs and started her career performing in all girl bands, influenced by the likes of The Go Gos, The Bangles, Vixen, Heart, Lita Ford and Joan Jett and The Runaways. But the Lansdowne, PA resident is making her own mark, with her scintillating and energetic performances. Many have tried to compare her vocal prowess to the soul of Aretha Franklin, the funk of Chaka Khan and the stage presence of Tina Turner, but the talented lady has a style and stage demeanor that is completely and totally her own. 

Her own project, The Blakk Diamond Band, which features  PhunkyMan on guitar, Shawn Maniac on guitar, Andre “BamBam” Adams on drums, Stacey McGee on bass, and Anthony on keyboards, has been receiving huge raves for its electrifying performances. The sexy and multi-talented performer, however, isn’t stopping there. She is releasing a metal CD, “Feel My Rage,” tentatively scheduled for release in Mid-March 2011 on I-Tunes www.tunecore.com/music/blakksteele.

Her versatility and talent enables her to make multi-genre CD releases, as she plans on releasing a project, “Val’s Blues and Funky Soul,” a nine song EP with two covers and seven original songs.
