The Clippers Sponsor Summer Clinics For Children
Sports — By Bernard Samms on July 20, 2011 at 1:01 amThe Clippers Summer Clinic program is a series of 10 free day clinics in various places throughout Los Angeles, scheduled to take place during the month of July and August. Each clinic will host 250 children ages 6 to 14 at ten different locations in greater Los Angeles to teach children the fundamentals of basketball. Children in attendance will each receive a clinic t-shirt, gift bag and books courtesy of the Clippers Read to Achieve program.
2011 CLIPPERS SUMMER CLINIC PROGRAM
Dates: July 25-29, 2011
Event Capacity: 250 children per clinic, ages 6 to 14
Participants:
100 children from Los Angeles Department of Recreation & Parks’ day campers and summer basketball leagues
150 children from Los Angeles Clippers phone in registration
Registration:
Children, ages 6-14, must be registered to attend the clinic—no walk ups will be allowed. Please call the Los Angeles Clippers Community Relations Department at 310-862-6031 to register over the phone or visit www.clippers.com and fax the registration form and waiver to 310-862-6039.
Waivers:
ALL waivers must be received for participation in the clinic.
