Brains Over Beauty

Our February Ms. Scoop LA is a splendid representation of Black History Month. The lovely and brainy lady, who maintains dual residences in LA and Miami, is currently working on her MBA at the University of Miami, focusing on Marketing and Finance. “I worked in Marketing and Public Relations for a few years until deciding to go back to school,” said Rochelle Holness.  “I worked with a range of clients, from marketing travel destinations in the US to working with celebrities and red carpet events. “ After she finishes school, she plans on being an entrepreneur, developing a business in brand marketing. Originally from Miami, Florida, her family background is Jamaican and she loves to travel.  “I have been all around the world but one of my favorite places to visit is Paris,” she said. “I believe travel is an investment that enriches life. I have modeled since 18 and been featured in calendars to runway shows. I love it, but prefer to have brains over beauty.” We are happy the aspiring entrepreneur has both beauty AND brains!
