Lynne Conner is a true renaissance lady. She has had success in every endeavor she has touched, including law, publicity, fashion designing, acting, producing, and directing. And currently, she is driving at the speed of a success, as an entrepreneur, co-owner of Irie Vibes Inc. dba GreenSTOP, a cannabis store located in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles dubbed #SmartDispensary.
GreenSTOP, conveniently located in the South Bay, has unique, innovative-designed areas, where customers use vending machine style kiosks to order and receive their products. The futuristic design is a technological marvel to behold. Lynne Conner immediately recognized the money-making potential of the devices. “We believe in the future and we think it’s innovative,” said Lynne Conner. “Supermarkets and fast-food restaurants all have self-checkout lines- where do you go now where it’s not self-serve? We like to compare ourselves to the video store (Redbox). I am a Black female, so I give the feminine touch to a male-dominated industry. The opportunity arose to get involved in the cannabis industry and I jumped on it, and after a 7-year journey, here I am. My driving motto is ‘never give up.’”

Opening GreenSTOP was a labor of love, passion, consistency and drive. It is not an overnight success story. “It’s a challenge building a business from scratch,” she said of the painstaking process of getting licensing and finding a locale for the business. We are proud to announce that we are open for business and striving for a successful, family generational-wealth organization. Cannabis is legal and safe and offers health benefits. Being exposed to this natural herb as a young child, it is a blessing to now be a part of its evolution.
Lynne’s spirit of perseverance has always driven her to be best.
A Los Angeles native, Lynne attended Fairfax and Dorsey High School, a school well-known for producing many successful individuals. “I was more mature for my age; my mother specialized in designing clothing for full-figured women and created doll clothes for Shandana Toys – the first Black Doll Company. I grew up with an entrepreneurial mother who taught my sister and I vision and creativity as babies,” she reflected. She created costumes for Inner-City Cultural Center, and the Ebony Showcase Theater, owned by Nick and Edna Stewart. “I began my career as an entrepreneur, designing my own fashion line, creating clothes and costumes from pattern to sale and producing fashion shows to display my creations,” she explained.
Inner City Cultural Center became an influential part of her life where Lynne studied all aspects of theatre. Later, Lynne received her Film degree at Mount Saint Mary’s University.
Ultimately, she began pursuing her passion-utilizing her considerable artistic talents-acting, directing, producing and later, becoming a successful entrepreneur and business owner.
