Meet & Greet the Soul Train Dancers at Brandy’s Disco Ball

Since 2010, Brandy’s Disco Ball celebrates the culture and the spirit of the 70s and the Disco Era through music, fashion, and art. The event also pays tribute to the legendary entertainers of the era. Each year, the Los Angeles Legendary Soul Train Dancers and some of the Original Soul Train Dancers from Chicago are special celebrity guests. This year, they will also be celebrating the 10th Year of the Soul Train Dancers Awards.

Created by Brandy Sanders, enjoy a fun and exciting evening of live entertainment, a celebrity red carpet, a Meet & Greet Reception, an Awards Presentation, a musical showcase, fashion show, a best-dressed contest, a dance contest, games, raffles, vendors, a Soul Train Scramble Board and of course, The World Famous Soul Train Line!!
The Celebrity Red Carpet will be dedicated to Jewel Thais-Williams, who made her transition on July 7th, 2025. Jewel is a legendary human rights activist, philanthropist, and owner of the historical Jewel’s Catch One, the oldest Black Disco in America. The red-carpet coordinator will be A’Queen Kaitina Lee.
The sensational Youth in Entertainment, will open the show, which features Nu Skool Sings Old School Star Performers Cybele and Chrystal Chyna. The Nu Skool Star Models will be modeling designs by 9-year-old star designer Charlie LeRoy. Also, there will be a special appearance by Nu Skool Sings Old School Star entertainer, actor, model and published author Camden Coley.
There will be an Awards Presentation, hosted by R&B historian and commentator, Tyrone DuBose, from the acclaimed television show, TVOne’s UNSUNG. Honorees Include: Captn Mark Wood, founder and lead Singer of the hit R&B group Lakeside, legendary songwriter for Solar Records and Soul Train Records UK, and Michael Jackson Tribute Entertainer Remj. There will also be a tribute to Dana Meyers, who recently made his transition. The Soul Train Dancers Awards honorees Include: Thelma Davis Martin (The Mother of Soul Train), Theresa Jackson, Sandra Nixon, Dolly Rizzo, and Christopher Campos. The Awards presenter will be Marco De Santiago.
The singing sensation “Disco Lady” will kick off the Dance Party in an electrifying performance. There will be a Special Musical Tribute to Sly Stone of Sly and The Family Stone and for Walter Scott of The Whispers. The Phenomenal DJ Destroyer will take us through a musical journey from the 1970s to the present.
Special Celebrity Guests include: Kathleen Bradley (Best known as Ms. Parker from Ice Cube’s Hit Movie “Friday”), Preston Glass (Legendary Musician, Songwriter & Producer), Brenda Lee Eager (Legendary Soul Singer, Songwriter, Playwright), Guadalupae D Lushus (The Queen Samba Mama from Brazil), Leon Sylvers III (Legendary Singer, Songwriter, Disc Jockey, Record Producer & Multi-Instrumentalist) Louie Ski Carr (Senor Cruz from “Carl Weber’s Family Business”) Limuel Flowers (Host of LA Lim Show on D.A.V.I. Radio in Los Angeles).
