May, 2023- Laura Walker, as Anna, displayed the range of her acting prowess in a small theater in Sherman Oaks, The Whitefire Theater.

The actress, who has excelled as a comic actress, proved she’s equally talented at dramatic offerings with her terse portrayal of Anna, a troubled parent of a son, that unfortunately is way too recognizable in society.

At times poignant and at times terrifying, the one-woman show traced the life of Anna and the travails of her relationships, particularly the relationship with her son. The play, which has themes of depression, suicide, was written by Nick Freedson and directed by Kelly DeSarla.  A must see if it happens to come around again.
