Orange County’s most celebrated event focused on African American history and culture takes place on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 8 am – 5pm Feb. 2, 2019 10am-4pm.

Produced by the Orange County Heritage Council (OCHC) under the leadership of OCHC President Dwayne Shipp, the goal for the annual event is to continue the traditions and culture of African Americans by honoring the achievements and contributions of black history.
The 40th Annual Black History Parade and Cultural Fair schedule:
Among the highlights:
8 am Opening of OCHC Exhibit at the MUZEO Museum and Cultural Center “Celebrating Our Heritage, Embracing Our Past and Building Our Future”
9 am Parade Pre-show / 200 S Anaheim Blvd
9 am Celebrity Meet & Greet Anaheim Blvd in front of Anaheim City Hall
10 am The Parade steps off on Anaheim Boulevard (featuring marching bands, floats, community units, dignitaries) along a 2 miles route.
12 pm – 5pm Cultural Faire (Music Fest, Health Village, College Faire, Youth Village, Vendor Booths, Food Court & Food Trucks, Custom Car & Motorcycle Show).
