Parris Harris and Derrick Hutchinson produced  L.A. Runway’s “LA Fashion Week Gives Back to the LA  Mission,” at the Arena Nightclub in West Hollywood and it provided innovative fashion, eye popping models and entertainment. Guests were asked to bring two cans of food for the LA Mission and the event seemed to be well attended. Many kudos to them for hosting an amazing event for a wonderful cause.

The designers included Shekhar Rahate, Perry Jones II, Parris Harris, Camille Wood Designs, Lolita Designs, Stephanie Nelson and many more. All of the designs and designers were spectacular. Perry Jones II’s men’s designs were classic, masculine and were a hit with the men and all of the ladies in attendance.

Performers included No Face, who had an interesting and funky solo set. All he needed was a band. Karmagraphy, a scintillating Bollywood style dance group, was thoroughly entertaining.  Anita Hutchinson sang and did a birthday tribute to Derrick Hutchinson, who also emceed the event. We spotted violinist Yennie Lam on stage with Anita Hutchinson. As usual, she was pretty and entertaining.   Another entertaining group was Lolitas Burlesque, a tasty burlesque group with crisp dancing and choreography.

This was a well-organized event and the next time you hear of Parris Harris and Derrick Hutchinson putting on a fashion event, you must go. As Parris calls his good friends now, “Fashion,” his warm spirit and class is the epitome of stylish fashion. Special thanks to model Dustin Quick for informing us of the event.
