The Designer Plans on Releasing His New Fashion Line in October 2014

The Bugatta Restaurant was the locale of a soiree that celebrated fashion designer Eugene Melvin Sidney’s birthday and gave appreciation awards to a few members of the media, including several photographers. “This is my 54th birthday,” said Eugene Melvin Sidney. “I do this event every year and we honor the media at my birthday party for all the hard work the media does, it’s my way of saying thank you.” Sidney plans on launching his new designer line in October, 2014.

Seen at the event- former Gap Band percussionist Victor Orlando and his lovely lady friend, singer Jacnique Harris-Love, fashion model Angela Wyatt and her son James aka Static, a mega-talented dancer, Entrepreneur and Dental professional Kathy Kapriyak, David Harrison Levi, Diversity News’ Steven Escobar, Community Activist Brandy Sanders, Jarvee Hutcherson, President of the Multicultural Motion Picture Association (MMPA), Actress Nikki Storm and her husband, Robert Storm, Flavor of Love star Krazy and legendary singer Marva King, among others.  “I had a hit record called “Stepping,” said Marva King. “You’ll find it everywhere. I had a record for the steppers market. Sade actually inspired me to write this song and it started going up the charts.
